Let's very simply,
make some art.
HEY THERE. WELCOME, TO ALB PRODUCES!
My name is Aryssa Leigh Burrs and I'm the producer behind this space. I can not wait to begin sharing in art and connecting in spirit with you.
ALB USES CONCERT EXPERIENCES TO FULLY AND INTENTIONALLY BUILD CONVERSATIONS AROUND THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE.
EVERYBODY USES ART MAKING IN SOME WAY AS A TOOL TO SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS, IDEAS, AND THEMSELVES.
I am working to best share myself with you, and I hope you will share yourself in return.
This inaugural season, we will get to share in three concert offerings together:
Each concert will be an experience filled with intentional curation, the integration of creative forms, and authentic collaboration. Our goal in these times of sharing will always be to use art to best speak to whatever it is we need to say in that moment.
, and simple songs.
Each concert this season will feature a shared conversation with one or many of the collaborators involved in that project.
The Village✨ will have the opportunity to take part in the creative process as we conduct interviews with composers, a talk-back with an instrumentalist, a Q&A with our visual designer, and many more!
These conversations will really hold the heart of this ALB Produces space, as we will use both ease and simplicity to continue the goals of sharing.
A SEASON BY ARYSSA LEIGH BURRS
MAY 27, 2023
OCTOBER 11, 2022
MARCH 11, 2023
After the infamous years that were '20 - '22, aren’t we all due for a moment of renewal?
RENEWAL in connection, RENEWAL in communication, RENEWAL in one’s full self
RENEWAL in LIVE art, music-making, and sharing.
An evening dedicated very simply to beautiful, luscious music making.
As our pillars of identity are ever growing and changing, so will this living work.
What will you share this time?
“And when we find ourselves in the place just right, twill be in the valley of love and delight.”
a night of simplicity under the stars.
Kind Words -
"I believe your recital has been the most thoughtful, thought-provoking, enjoyable online production I have seen during the pandemic. Admittedly, because of the nature of my work, I am not easily moved by recitals, especially student recitals. But yours was the work of a mature, genuine, talented, deep musician and person, and I thank you so much for such a beautiful afternoon of music, art, and thought.”
- Laurann Gilley, Vocal Coach, Chicago Lyric Opera
And with that, I invite you to join The Village ✨
in whatever financial way suits you best.
Please join me in support and attendance as I personally come back to finding the music that says all I am hoping to say in this world; and join me as WE rediscover what it means to share in these ideas together again.
I cannot wait to share this with you 🖤
